Every time I shoot a confetti shot, people are always excited get involved and I sneakily make them wait as long as possible, so that their petal filled hands are like a coiled spring, itching to explode open. This was no exception!

The celebrations were at a cool little place called the Ceridwen Centre, and it’s the first time I’d shot wedding photography there. Seriously cool place. This confetti shot was at a small church a short drive away in Capel Closygraig, and there was a big bag (I mean huge) of organic confetti, just waiting to be used. The bride and groom had organised small containers to hold the confetti, but most of the wedding guests just plunged their hands into the bag laying on the floor. I love being right in the thick of the action, so opted for my Nikon 14-24mm 2.8 and ducked down. The countdown happened and Confettimageddon let loose! Seriously cool to be there. I was picking pieces of confetti from out of my shirt for the rest of the day. Totally worth it!
